Light Crystals Of Amusement

Where I See One I See Hundreds

Sweet surprise

So early in the morning

A lovely sight for sore eyes

You think it would have the opposite affect

So bright

Like looking at tiny little flash lights

Each remarkable

Each different in so many ways

From a distance all the little pieces look the same

Easily erased in hours

Lets examine it even closer

No we don't need a microscope

Even though one sure would be helpul

I see something so calming

A headache reducer

Quite charming

It is real

It is so fine

Still too cold to hold

If I could put it into one word

I would say powerful

No let me change it to magnificient

A wonder of science

A product we can not sell

We have so much and hours later we have so little

It is free

Never to be owned

Something most people like

Then so many other people would disagree

Here we have it

Nothing more than fairy dust

Spread over land like light mayo on bread

DREAM ON (author) on February 28, 2019:

Gypsy Rose Lee You guessed it. The freshly fallen snow. So delicate and yet versatile. It continues to fall until it stops. Leaving little reminders on everything for miles. The winter is almost over but not until a few more inches of snow today. Another look at the wonders of nature. Thank you so much for being the first to comment and share the magic of the color white. Have a lovely night.

I am not sure what you're referring to but if I think back to my winter's in Latvia then I remember how it all looked like sparkling diamonds everywhere. The sun glinted off of fallen snow and it was so bright that you had to wear sunglasses otherwise your eyes would tear.
