Life is God's Gift

For every dark shadow

There is a divine light,

Over nature’s blissful meadows

The birds are in a flight.

I may not have everything,

But I’m abundantly blessed,

Without blessings I’m nothing,

I value life’s caress.

No matter life’s all messed – up,

And things are in doldrums;

No need to be so stressed – up,

There’s solution for all problems.

God’s ultimate gift is life,

Be not it waste away;

Find meaning for your life,

The reward’s not far away.

Build castles on stone, not sand,

There is no other way;

Cheer – up take life’s reins, in your hand,

It’s order of the day.

And did you ever, this wonder,

Amidst all life’s drama;

In the skies, and fields yonder,

Who enriched earth’s panorama.

God created vales and rivers,

Forests and the sky;

To give us all, mirth forever,

Through all these worthy prize.

All that, we can now do is,

Immensely thank the Lord;

Who gave us all, His blessings,

Our saviour and our God.

      I am very happy to put the first comment. I am sure many will follow. Life is filled with so many good surprises and then when I am so happy my mood changes. I hear about something not so good and wonder why? Just when I loved this day so much a ripple to disturb it's beauty. How come this day couldn't continue just the way it was and next time when times are going good once again we have another ripple. I think it gives us time to appreciate all we have and be thankful. I loved your poem so inspirational and personal to me. Have a wonderful morning.
