Life in a Fog
Self published Christian romance author of three books, with more on the way. I may not be famous, but as long as I'm writing, I'm happy!
Walking in a fog,
Visibility zero.
Shrouded in a cloak of gray;
Am I coming or going?
Groping for anything familiar,
Listening for a way out.
Unsure. Afraid.
Dawn breaks,
Warmth rises,
Dissipation and evaporation;
Focus and clarity
Restored.
Aura of
Invulnerability.

Thank you Lorna, Bushra and John for your kind comments! I'm more of a book writer, but maybe I should explore my more "poetic side"! lol! :)

Such a beautiful poem Lisa - I love the last verse as the way out becomes clear. Loved it.

Yes, I can see how life sometimes mimics walking in a fog. Nice comparison, Lisa. Wow to that pic of tall trees.
