Love, Death, and Flowers
Life is a flower.
As you grow the flower blossoms.
It radiates with a beautiful shine.
But as you grow older,
The flower starts to wither.
Love is the damage to your petals.
Sometimes love plants more seeds.
More than other times though,
It rips your petals apart
As you grow.
Death is the silence that kills your flower.
It unbeknownst you,
Strips your petals silently.
Until the moment you have one petal left.
That beautiful blossoming flower,
It crumbles to dust and dies
With a simple touch from death.
