Last Journey ..... taste the fruits of your life .....
Soon it will be time to bid adieu
To this world
Ages reaching sixties and seventies.
Prepare yourself for the last journey.
Tighten your seat belts
Gear up for that last ride.
Taste the fruits of your life,
What you sow, so shall you reap.
The journey towards sunset
Will be steep
And will really
Taste as you reap.
So, get ready for the finale
Do not weep, do not weep.
Looming over the whole world
In hundreds and thousands,
Most vulnerable are senior citizens,
And children, adults and old.
My son laments
God is angry;
Punishing His children
One and all.
So, friends, get ready for that last journey,
Wait for Almighty’s call.
BUT, my son laments,
These days too shall pass;
Good days will soon come
Do not feel harassed;
Virus will be defeated
By medicine to surpass
All the ill effects and the agony
Will soon become a thing of the past.
Have Faith, have Patience, have Courage, my friends,
This too shall pass, this too shall pass.
God ... my guiding light ... show me the path ... twilight of life ... dawn of spiritual life ...
Purify your soul through good deeds ...

Hari Thanks for your comment. We get so busy passing through life that we forget life will come to an end one day. We only get to prepare for the last journey when we enter the sunset zone of living.
God bless you and your family .....

Sad reality. One has to reap what one sows. Ending no one sees until it's nearby. Great poem to realize the ultimate truth of life that it ends too.
