I have been writing poetry, fiction and short stories for many years and have completed a book of poems. I also enjoy comedy writing.
Years have now passed, the kids have grown and so have we.
Our grey hairs show age and wisdom, but forever it shall be. Me loving you and you loving me.
Now here we are together, holding hands and exchanging vows.
Now me your husband, you my beautiful wife. This is what life is all about.
And on that day, by our favorite quiet little place I asked for your hand
I saw love burst from your heart and sprinkled the air like a magicians wand
We held hands, we laughed and there were sparkle in your eyes.
As I saw my future unfold, my unborn kids and my wife.
We enjoyed each others company, we had much in common.
Until we decided to go on a date, to begin a new blossom.
Then we took a minute or two to do a little chat
Sometimes on the bench in the park we sat
We started as simple strangers, a simple hello and hi
Then we came familiar to each other as time passed by
