Lockdown Effects
Bogged down by the word lockdown;
Deep down I felt I'll have a nervous breakdown;
Praying, Oh, God! during COVID 19,
Give me the strength of a teen;
Gradually I have calmed down,
Accepted it and settled down.
I'm immersed in my hobbies that' s "Art",
Where lies my heart;
Probably my counterpart,
With which I refuse to part.
From pencil to brush to thread;
I grabbed everything and went ahead.
Trying to move my fingers deftly,
I utilised every moment powerfully;
Time which I felt was dawdling;
Has just begun rolling.
Hobbies do inculcate,
Only to rejuvenate;
Fag end of the day,
All I have to say;
Utilise time where your pleasure lies,
Not for any Nobel prize,
But just to feel energised.
