Life: Inspired by Brenda Arledge

Peace is a high school- level educator and a writer that is dedicated to creating engaging contents for online platforms.

What is Life?

Life is a gift, a mystery, an adventure. It could be anything you make of it.

Brenda's word prompt "life" has sparked many memories in my head. My childhood was quite fun, I remember playing with my friends, watching my favorite cartoons, and all the times I spent with my grandpa before he passed. It's been over a year since he passed but the thought of him resting and being at Peace after working so hard and loving me so much brings a light over me I cannot explain. The hardest lesson I've learned is that nothing lasts forever so seize the moment as much as you can!

This would be my first time taking up a word prompt challenge. I appreciate Brenda for coming up with this, I like that it helps us to think deeply, be creative and share our life challenges and experience.

Do you know the expression live and let live?

It means you should accept other people as they are. Everybody has different ways of life. Live and let is one of the keys to peace in our lives. When we practice tolerance in our lives we are liberated and end any of the conflicts in our lives and gain the ability to stop new ones before they build into big ones.

What Life Has Taught Me

Life has taught me to walk my path and not let other people's dreams make me stray from the future I have carved for myself.

Life has taught me to face it head-on and be courageous.

Life has taught me those good things don't come easy.

Life has taught me to never fail to try again after previous failures

Life has taught me that a man who cannot bridle his tongue always gets himself into judgment

Life has taught that a man who always speaks the truth is always at ease

Life has taught me that the foot of a fool dribbles trouble

Life has taught me that with God all things are possible.

Life has taught me to love and to be kind

Rules for Life

Accept who you are

Leave a little space for yourself each day

Don't be afraid to dream

Don't dwell on the past

Know what counts and what doesn't

Take an interest in the outside world

Maintain good manners in all things

Have dignity

Shop for quality not quantity

Learn to ask questions

Never be too busy for loved ones

Find a new rule for your life every day.

Live every day like it's your last.

Poem about Life

"Tick tick tick….

Life goes by so fast

In a blink, it runs through

Moment of joy flown away

Sadness goes away

Sometimes I wonder

Where did the time go?

Life has been so shaky

With Rusty bridges and rails

I hold on tightly

As much as I can!

Here or there

I get by each day

But hey! I'm glad

I think of my family and friends

With all the love I get,

I want to live well

What will life be without them?

I wonder.

I want to be that person that is strong.

To go the extra miles to live life to the fullest.

To give a hug when needed

To show love

To show kindness

The true essence of life.

We only got one life

It passes so quickly

Be grateful to God for the gift

Regardless of life's struggles

Rise after every fall

Live Boldly!
