Cross Over the Rainbow Bridge My Darling One...
Cross Over the Rainbow Bridge My Darling One
I remember when I first saw you standing there as the light shined upon your face
I immediately fell in love with you as I caught you staring at my way
I picked you up and you licked my face, and pure delight filled my soul
My heart was full of so much love, and I knew I had to bring you home
I held you in my arms as I sang you a lullaby just as you fell asleep
I kissed you, hugged you, and told you how much you meant to me
As I hold you close to me now, I can't seem to let you go, not just yet
It's hard to say goodbye to a piece of my heart and that heart you sure kept
I just need one more minute with you, I can't seem to let you go
Tears of sorrow fill my eyes, and are falling on your nose
I embrace my thoughts of you and the love that sparkled in your eyes
Just one look captured my soul, and I can't imagine my life without my angel in disguise
The years sure went by way too fast, please don't tell me that it's time
Heaven is too far away to roam, and I need you here by my side
You brought me the greatest joy that I tuck deep into my heart
Letting go of you is saying goodbye when your love is the greatest by far
Run, romp, and play, through the grassy meadows amongst the trees
Jump and bask in the sunlight as your fur blows gently in the breeze
Heaven isn't too far away, and I can feel you lick my face
Go now my darling one... go through heaven's pearly gates...
Until we meet again...
Mama will miss you, and daddy will too
Just go over the rainbow bridge, and God will take care of you
Freedom calls her name; then she goes on about her way
She leaves behind such beauty and a little bit of heaven today
Soon she goes over the rainbow bridge as she looks back at her ma
She blows kisses in the wind and hugs her with her paws
As twilight approaches, she walks towards the rainbow path
I will love you forever my darling one, you are free at last…
The Beauty of Cat Heaven
It’s Hard to Say Good-Bye- Let’s Just Say- I Love You and See You Soon...
In life, it's not always easy to let go of the ones you love. Some of our loved ones have fur or feathers or skin. Your heart doesn’t measure what you look like or what you sound like. And if by chance we find that love in a furry companion, we know they will always be with us in this life.
We are not guaranteed any new day at all, but we love, we laugh and cherish every single moment that is laid upon our hearts. The guarantee is their love goes on forever in our memories and when our beloved visits us in our dreams.
Ms. Violet Mocha – May You Rest in Peace
In Honor of Our Furry Family Child
Whoever thought that a furry little creature would touch so many lives. She wasn’t just a cat; she was my daughter’s first child. The emptiness cannot be smoothed over with just another cat.
Each one holds a piece of our hearts and yes, eventually we will get a new furry little child and the pain will be pushed to the back of our hearts to make room for just one more to love…
Violet started her life in my house undetected but what she left behind made me find my heart again, she made her time here joy and a wonderful companion to my daughter and son-in-law for 15 years!
She went to heaven today and I’m sure her Grandma Jo and Grandma Nita and all the rest of the family that has passed, I can see her running up to them they all gave her hugs and kisses...
Violet sends one final I love you too and blows kisses in the wind over the rainbow bridge... she looks back meows to her Mama and Daddy one last time...
