joyful-writing

Where poetry is created out of silence

Held within the shadows of the night

Inspired by creation’s true expression

I write

Soothing words becoming rays of safety

In a broken mind searching for the light

Inspired by the hope of understanding

I write

Mystical words create poetic wisdom

Transcending the imagination in full flight

Inspired by the depths of my reflection

I write

Words of simple kindness and compassion

Are harnessed by the beauty of the night

Inspired by the sweetest songs of angels

I write

Within the boundaries of a single moment

Love creates a constant brilliant light

Inspired by the fragility of a heartbeat

I write

Capturing the emotional art of music

Where melodies escape in search of light

Inspired by the language of the spirit

I write

As the falling shadows bless the evening

I weave my words, evading dawn’s delight

Inspired by the solace of remembering

This is why I write
