“Killing Me Softly” has always been one of my favorite songs to sing along with. It has such a beautiful sounding melody. And now, I can sing this favorite to my own song lyrics, below, which is a lyrical poem about our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Killing Me Softly - Instrumentals - Roberta Flack
God Loves Me
Kingdom of Heaven
Giving my sins to my Savior
Nailing His hands on the cross
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Making Him bleed from my dark sins
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
He chose to take on my sins
I had no doubt He would
And, so I came to love him
To worship all I could
Though, at no fault, he bled on
With kindness in His eyes
Giving my sins to my Savior
Nailing His hands on the cross
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Making Him bleed from my dark sins
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
I knelt down praying in fervor
Astonished by such grace
Then, I felt God’s sweet presence
I was in the right place
He blessed me in His mercy
I knew I would live on
Giving my sins to my Savior
Nailing His hands on the cross
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Making Him bleed from my dark sins
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
It was like He had known me
From a long time before
This is when joy ran through me
It shook my very core
He had been with me always
Closer than I knew
Giving my sins to my Savior
Nailing His hands on the cross
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Watching Him carry all my wrongs
Making Him bleed from my dark sins
Watching Him carry all my wrongs

Such a nice touch to a secular song. I saw Roberta Flack sing this song so many years ago. Your words and her melody bring back memories.

Thank you for your kind words. I am so happy to see you, again! I made a new account, and could not remember all those whom I had followed before, so I’m so glad to be in touch, again!
Yes, Killing Me Softly is such a beautiful melody, as is Roberta Flack’s voice.

Billy,
Yes..lol..He loves You more than we can ever comprehend! Yes, He keeps you through the night. Not saying it’s not a “rough-go”, at times, (cuz, ya; it is); but, He’s got your back. Amen Jesus!
Hugs,

Very nice work, Tamara! Jesus must love me; there is no other explanation how I've managed to remain alive this long, and have so many bounties.
