It's All Just Life: A Poem
In my past incarnation
I must have been a clown
inspiring others for hesitation
whether to feel up or to feel down.
For, I see life as complete
with sorrow and happy times
in victory and in a bitter defeat
at our decline and at our primes.
Like the massage to tired souls
I may bring humor for some laugh
and at foothills of unreachable goals
I'll join your grief over life short and tough.
In the same boat we sail
through seas calm and cruel
unsure if it's time to win or to fail
oftentimes like running out of the fuel.
But then it's always new hour
bringing to us sunshine after rain
with life turning sweet after tasting sour
when pleasure fills heart after a long pain.
