A Little Background on This Poem
I wrote this poem when I was 11 years old, after my grandma Nelda passed away from lung cancer. I hope you enjoy it and it blesses you!
This is just one of many poems included in my new poetry book, which is now available for purchase on Amazon.com! Please see below. I am really excited about this new venture. Hope you enjoy!
It Won't Be Long
Sometimes it's because of old age
Sometimes it's just their time
But for every single death
There's a reason and a rhyme.
And it's okay to be upset
And it's alright to cry
Just as long as you know
Christians never truly die.
People who are believers
Are with the Lord above
There is no sorrow up there
Only joy and love.
So even though it's hard to part
Though only for a while
It won't be long before the reunion--
And you will see them smile.
