Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Quote from Kabir

"Kabir says: Student, tell me, what is God?
He is the breath inside the breath.”

Invocation to Spring

The aroma of roses, dahlias and marigolds,

Permeate the stillness of my breath,

Heralding the Heart’s affinity for Love.

Within this enchanting pageantry of colours,

I hold court with a symphony of lovers,

Designing a supernal spectacle,

In this orchard of translucent Light.

Orchids, tulips, daisies and hyacinths,

Unfurl their magical grandeur,

Embraced by the radiant lustre of the sun,

Rinsing the heavens with smiles of Joy.

My soul ascends to the eloquent chants

Of sparrows, cockatoos and canaries,

As the daffodils dance beneath my feet.

The turbulent jungle of the mind,

Is now completely silent.

I breathe new life from another virgin dawn;

In the presence of lavenders, I dance with Delight.

A snow-white newness, is the life-breath of happiness,

Waltzing within the child’s purity, like golden flames.

Come, my Beloved, the starlight whispers to the moon.

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier, 19th March, 2018

Quote from Kabir

“There is dew
on these poems in the morning,
and at night a cool breeze may rise from them.

In the winter they are blankets, in the summer a place to swim.

I like talking to you like this. Have you moved
a step closer?

Soon we may be

Beauty inspired

What's your beauty?

Even if I was to be stuck in the icy part of God's beautiful globe, your words would bring spring to the cold unforgiving darkness. This is enchanting:

    Orchids, tulips, daisies and hyacinths,

    Unfurl their magical grandeur,

Embraced by the radiant lustre of the sun,

We are expecting an ice storm in the morning here. I think dear brother, I'll read this again to warm me up.

    Much love,

Yes, of course. I assumed it, but it should have been stated. "I breathe new life from another virgin dawn." Each day is a new beginning, a new experience in the wonderful world around us.
