Into the unknown

sometimes I walk

filled with voices of despair

How do I bring light?

inside this space

in time it must repair

Overwhelming feelings

I can’t even consume,

it’s all caused from the voices

that leads me to assume

What’s the path?

ahead of me,

I need to filter through

You will never know,

if the path is right until

you see it through

It’s a weird feeling in your gut

that tells you yay or nay,

You take heed of that feeling

it gives you the comfort,

at least you had a say

Into the unknown

today I walk,

I first make heads or tales,

God then intervenes

and shines the light

to make things bright,

now there’s my known place right in sight

We sometimes feel so overwhelmed, that anxiety gets the better. To bring light into the darkness, helps to see things clearly for what it is, before you take another step.

Hi Liz,

We all have those senses of somewhat uncharted territory, and look for signs that will provide direction in good faith and judgment.

Stop by anytime, your comments are always appreciated

This is an interesting view of our paths through life.

Well said Ruby, I share your sentiments

Love, light and blessings to you always

I agree fully with your post note. God is the answer to all our woe's. Sometimes we reach a two-way path and unsure witch path to take, and sometimes we take the wrong path, and when we ask God for direction, he's always there to lead us back on the right path. Your message is clear and reminds us when we stumble into the unknown, there's a way out. Thank you.

Appreciate your precious comment Dora,

God has always brought light, brighter than bright to any dark place.

May we all find inner peace in knowing with absolute confidence, and without fear.

Mitara, you speak for many in your poem. Your message is clear: We need God to help us through the unknowns. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you dear friend Kyler,

We have all been in the same shoes, and share your thoughts.

There are so many challenges we go through each day, that we have to make sense of everything life throws at us, but each challenge we take on and overcome makes us stronger.

Always appreciate your feedback.

I've been finding myself spending a lot of time thinking about direction, which is right and which is wrong, I always find the light in the perceptions of others and where they've chosen to walk.

A wonderful poem that inspired a lot of introspective thought for me.
