Desire and opulence

O Love, You are my Constant Miracle

Caught within a pillar of entanglements,

I see only the gateway to my abyss.

Tumbling down an avalanche of despair, fear

Bites and torments the Heart like heavy snow.

O Love! You are my constant miracle!

Encircling my darkness, with the Light of

Thy Peace. Lost in a desert of loneliness and guilt,

I fast approached the preying hawk of sorrow.

But You came! A dauntless Falcon,

Carrying the visionary banner of hope.

Your Love serenaded my soul,

With Thy golden robes of victory.

Now I’m blessed by the eagle of freedom,

Carrying me across the void, to my eternal Home.

Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 21st August, 2018.

~Awakening The Inner Light~

Into The Bosom of Infinity's Delight

Washed away by the tides of life,

I saw only the temporal shadows;

Missed the joys of the blossoming Heart.

Break my chains asunder, O Queen,

Shield me from this maze of loneliness and guilt.

O Lantern, of what use is a life of opulence,

Without the bliss of inner solitude?

Out, out! Sweet pleasure!

Bitter is the apple of thy allure.

O Chariot of Light, come!

Carry me to the supernal brilliance,

Of the all-illumining sun.

My Beloved is eagerly ‘waiting to embrace me,

Into the bosom of Infinity’s Delight.

Chariot of Light

A Boon From my Beloved

The arrow of Love caresses me;

The dance of an ever-effulgent Light,

Kisses and embraces my soul.

I swoon inebriated, in the perennial wine of Heaven;

My Beloved has granted me the boon, of Infinity's Peace. -Manatita 23rd August, 2018

Into the bosom of Infinity's Delight...how this must be as an experience is beyond what I can fathom...you have a gift of bringing us to the depth of our being.

Lol. So I believe that you are wise and perhaps I've even told you before! True, you are a brilliant writer, but by nature I generally look further. God bless your Spirit and may you be filled with inner and outer opulence, according to His Will and Consciousness. Glory be!

Rinita Sen on August 23, 2018:

This combination is eternal. The short verse in the end makes this all the more elegant.
