Gazing into the breath of this evergreen Light,

A river of Joy embraced my Spirit.

My agony of longing now answered,

I bathed in the lustre of diamonds from heaven.

I saw the golden garlands of Love,

Anchored into the vessel of a vast stillness;

The elegance of the indigo moon above,

Dancing on an ocean of heavenly Delight.

Now soaked in a cushion of tenderness supreme,

My Heart wept with a Joy unspoken,

Pulling at the melody of song-birds,

Singing ecstatically, on the bosom of my Queen.

Bewildered by this speechless realm of glory,

My winged Phoenix ascends, to the gateways of supernal Bliss.

Emitting a tapestry of celestial splendour;

Sharing its sweet sacrificial aroma, with all." -Manatita

I read this quote of yours somewhere else, I believe. So it's awesome to offer for a second poem. By nature I try to make every word count.

Poetry: The best words in their best order." -Coleridge.

My heartfelt thanks and gratitude to you Manatita, for this beautiful poem!

I consider myself fortunate to be your friend, and reading the comments from fellow writer friends has really touched my heart. I want to thank them also, from the bottom of my heart.

Your poem makes me visualise, how one can feel in heaven. Only a person with a golden heart, can express so beautifully.

Your poems are refreshing and soothing to the soul, and this one is no different. Loved your pictures and video too.

Since you know many Hindi words, I am tempted to say that your poems provide ‘Paramanand.’ While ‘Happiness’ can be achieved by physical things, but ‘Paramanand’ is something different. It can bring a smile on your face, even when you are alone, because it makes the soul happy.

Thank you once again for this wonderful gesture, and Stay Blessed!
