Perhaps in the other universe,
We'd almost certainly meet,
We'd almost certainly not be terrified,
To separate from each other,
To have our own time apart,
To converse with someone who admires us.
We're not likely to share quotes that our hearts can't express.
We are unlikely to cry,
When our character depicts what we are viewing as if it were us.
Hurting.

We awoke next to each other,
Waiting for the sun to rise,
Breathing in our good mornings,
Which we could taste through the coffee we had brewed together.
Maybe we'll be soulmates this time.
