"Let the Beauty we love, be what we do.

There are hundreds of ways,

To kneel and kiss the ground." -Rumi

A Free verse Sonnet

I’m so happy that You came, my Dear, so happy,

For I’m enchanted by the beauty of Your Heart.

Naked and alone I was, stripped of all pretensions,

And my tears flowed like heavy rain.

But You kissed my breath with the arrow of Love;

A river of Light flowed through my veins.

O my sweet, sweet, Beloved One;

O my Rhapsody of Delight!

You came, where I lay on a razor of darkness;

Flooded my being with Thy breathless Peace.

A symphony of sounds now take hold;

A silent rapture engages my soul.

I ascend, like the Phoenix, to perennial heights;

My Joy floats and sings upon the wind.

I Lie Hidden in the Scent of ALL

The sun never says to the cosmos:

“I need only the moon today.”

It lights up the sky.

Let us all dream of the impossible, have hope.

I know I am only a single candle,

But I wish to burn with the joy of a zillion Hearts.

I am a flower garden.

Do not say I am a vermillion rose,

Or sweet-scented lavender,

Rather that I lie hidden in the scent of ALL.

How can we separate ice from water,

Or the branches from the tree?

Listen… when the flow of the mind is halted,

The joy of the Spirit speaks in silence.

Know that the melody of its orchestra,

Is far greater than the note of a single flute,

Yet they all need each other,

For the harmonious symphony of Love.

      Please feel free to ask. It is the nature of Spirituality to be simple, yet profound. I have sat at the feet of a man of God for 35 years. I'm happy to serve and equally happy to learn where necessary.

      Dear manatita,

      I read the article you prescribed, "The Forty Rules of Love" by Shams. It was a great read.

      Most of the rules reflect my beliefs. However, there are few that are new while others need to be meditated upon for resolution and compromise.

      Thank you for your great gesture of love. Meeting you is getting interesting. The more we interact, the more area of common interest surfaces.

      Again, thank you for the recommendation.

      Thank you, my sweet Robin.

      I feel that from your personality, you will benefit from spiritual writings. Look up the 40 rules on Love by Shams. It's both on video and in English script. if you cannot find it, then I can send it to you. You can read it in 10 -15 mins. It's not a book but rather maxims for living.

      Your compliment is awesome and it reflects your own inner beauty. Continue to culture and nourish this. Much Peace.

      Karoro, welcome here.

      You have a keen eye. Can you believe that I ended the poem without the last two lines? But I felt that something was missing, so I added the extra couplet.

      Thank you for such a charming contribution.

      Back to You, Linda (second piece). We say all the time that Saviours are all saying the same thing. Sure they differ; sure we have our favourites, but Guruji used to say that they are rather like giant waves in the same stream of Consciousness, manifesting in different ways, the same one Love.

      Look at what's common to all: Truth or God, compassion or grace, faith, hope and charity, Love ... the list goes on. Don't forget that they speak of an eternal home, Whether it's the Kingdom of Heaven or Nirvana or God-realisation... they do have a goal in mind for us. Have a great Sunday.

      Ajado,

      Let me first welcome you here.

      Yes, yes, my Brother-Friend. Give it a go, for it is indeed inside your psychic Heart. Let Grace bring it to the fore. I look forward to reading your work.

      Manatita, you have wonderful poems here.

      You made me want to do some. I have not being doing poetry lately. I have not even done one here before. But a poet and poetry are always together. Like the ice and water in your piece, the are inseparable. Maybe I should give it a try here on HP.

      Lovely poems.

      Indeed, my Bro.

      People seem to be getting this one. I have put the philosophy of Love in there. We call it Oneness, infinitely more sublime than the word 'Unity.'Thank you so much!!

      Ha ha, Madan.

      Between you and I, I have sat relentlessly in Meditation, day after day, sometimes up to 7 hours, for over 35 years! One cannot write like this without the express permission of the Inner Pilot.

      A most charming compliment and with practice, you should do well. Some Indians do, but they told me that they are influenced by the Bollywood scripts. Me, I write from the Heart. Thank you so much!!

      When I read the second one, what came to mind was the scientific word symbiosis, the relationship of algae and fungus, usually seen on rocks or trees. It is a beautiful lesson about how people can live together.

      Ha ha. I'll look it up, my Sweet...

      I have, it is a most beautiful piece of Scripture. I chose this piece, but from V4 to the end it is awesome. It truly reflects my Guruji's teachings.

      We aspirants are not surprised, really. I have so many poems here saying that there are no boxes, just one indivisible whole. Now I say this in my second poem and for you to get this message, it means that you are even more special than I have already made you in my Heart. I cherish this. Now here is a sampling of your piece:

      "4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work."1 Corinthians 12. Incidentally, Paul is my favourite. He was very mystical.

      Have a great day, my Dear.
