If I Die Tonight
Hyn Edwit is a university student who writes poems and stories reflecting his inner thoughts.
If I die tonight
I'll walk these hallways
and haunt the darkness
that plagued me back
when I was breathing, breaking
the cycle of death that mere
mortal hands caused
If I die tonight
I'll celebrate with hands
stained red,
greeting Death,
asking for an opportunity
to capture the killer
in expense
of my sanity
If I die tonight
and was indeed given the chance
I'd likely realize
that persuasion
has gotten the better of me
even in death
Why, I made suicide
a noble venture
