Rather i die . . .
Than watch as spitting neighbors colonize my country
Than watch as my kids heritage is plundered.
Than See my grandfather’s graveyard turned into kraals
Than watch teargas, bullets and blood shower on my mother land
And when I die . . .
May not tears but words of patriotism flow at my funeral
May sorrow unite Bobi, Besigye and Mao against the imperialists
May my death raise my children’s thirst for revenge
May my murder haunt our captors forever
As opposition flags fly high and lay bequeathed on my body.
Lowered into the grave by only true patriots.
and my name is aligned along.
