I Was a Little Boy Once
The poet is a medical student with a weird sense of humour and spends a great deal of time exploring ways to flourish his cultural insight.
I was a Little Boy once
I was a little boy once
A dreamer, who could set sail to explore
Fantasies, or imagination as I call it now
On my yacht of thoughts
I sailed on the dazzling water of ideas
For dreams like rivers always
Mingles with the sea of endless bounties.
I was a admirer once
Fancied the lady of green;
Wrapped by the veils of mists,
Adorned with the crystals of dawn dews
She had me trapped every morn
Over and over, again.
I was so many things once
Could see all the colours of the world
In the mere wings of a Painted Jezebel
Once I was a little lad
Back then, I indeed was the King of the World.
