More Seeds of Inspiration. An Offering to Crissp

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

The Light Becomes Visible, When The Day Breaks

The dead knows not the living; the wayfarer never dies.

There are no graves in this field of sanctity.

The nights’ blackness, is only an ephemeral shadow;

The light becomes visible, when the day breaks.

Struggle is only the hidden soil of adversity.

Hope is the seed and gratitude are the trunk,

Branches … blossoms. Service is the succulent

Mango, through which man connects to Truth.

There is a stream of living water,

Which satiates the agony of longing.

Cast of thy fetters, no iron bars the fire of the Heart.

A thorn may seem to be injurious, but to the rose

It nurtures and protects her immaculate splendour.

Lantern says: “Be patient, for Love is the supernal harvest,

Requiring only the flames of intensity, to reach its shores.”

-Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 23rd October, 2018

~ Awakening The Inner Light~

I am The Dreamer; I am The Dream

Love is the voice that talks to shadows;

Preens the mirror to share the moon.

I once was that shadow, and my mirror

Fell into a penury of broken pieces.

Alone in my emptiness, I wept God’s rain;

Prayed silent tears for the joys of solitude.

But my darkness was a disguised candle, that

The Beloved wanted me to endure;

I left the Alchemist, molded into a resplendent Light.

I wonder if they see me now?

Still waters serenade the vastness,

Hugging and caressing the luminosity of the moon.

So too, my spirit-filled Heart rises,

And the beauty of the sun-god whispers,

Of my Soul’s indomitable contribution to man.

I saw an orchid bow to the melody of birds,

Cascading their cadences to infinitude.

I am a tender phoenix kindled, on its way to the

Garden of one thousand lights!

My Hearts own symphonies I yearn to share.

Beating, beating … in this wheelchair where I sit,

My quest pushes me, in this search for meaning.

Yet I am the Dreamer; I am the dream.

Come walk with me, my kindred spirits. Let us be friends.

In this journey of a thousand nights,

My inner raiment sparkles with the wonder of a trillion lights!

Sometimes I feel their sweet rays like fireflies,

Dancing in a garden, and the Beloved gazes

With rapt attention, drops of golden rain

Falling from Her cheeks, singing “I love you’s,” to my soul.

It is then that I awake to the magnificence

Of the unfathomable, and know that I am free.

I wonder if they see me now?

Wisdom From The Master

"Hope abides; therefore I abide.
Countless frustrations have not cowed me.
I am still alive, vibrant with life.
The black cloud will disappear,
The morning sun will appear once again
In all its supernal glory." -Sri Chinmoy

Thank you, my Brother.

I try to give a message of hope ... to let others know that there is a Light waiting when the darkness is gone ... that adversity, however painful, is a candle from the Divine.

Thank you so much!

Rodric Anthony Johnson from Surprise, Arizona on November 01, 2018:

I love how you describe the stages of growth through adversity. That is what I see. Rinita Sen captured it in her comment. That really touched me because of what I am going through right now in life. I am filled with joy because of my hope in Christ. The love of God does bring with it thorns to endure but thrones of joy to sit upon.

Hi Shauna.

Looks like you are loving my poetry even more! I have so many special ones! But yes, you seem to gel more with recent ones.

The first is naturally and deliberately inspirational. Written for CrisSp to lift her from her winter despair.

The second was written for a woman in a wheelchair. Someone I know at Poetry Cafe. Glad you like them. Truly appreciate your awesome contribution

Much Love.

Shauna L Bowling from Central Florida on October 30, 2018:

Manatita, this is beautiful. I read it a couple of times to really let it sink in. This is one of your best!

manatita44 (author) from london on October 25, 2018:

Awesome Linda.

But then Paul is always awesome! he was my brother in the last life. Lol. Thank you so much!!

Linda Lum from Washington State, USA on October 25, 2018:

"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed." 2 Corinthians 4:7-9

Yes. This is what Sri Chinmoy teaches. The soul chooses from heaven. It chooses its own environment, family and so forth, in order to get the experiences necessary for growth. God sanctions, approves or tolerates this, according to Guruji. You're very wise. Thank you so much!!

Doris James MizBejabbers from Beautiful South on October 24, 2018:

So much truth in your poetry, Manatita. Since I was 12 years old, I've struggled with the adversity of physical pain. Just when I get one problem "fixed" another crops up and takes its place, but my soul is strong. I believe we occasionally choose an unpleasant life for the spiritual experience, just like Jesus did. We would not be on earth to experience adversity had we not chosen to do so.

manatita44 (author) from london on October 24, 2018:

Yes. One day they will be, my Sweet. My book Blossoms of The Heart will come out one day, God's willing. Meanwhile, you can choose from the 500 plus on a daily basis with my pleasure. Thank you so much!!

Mary Norton from Ontario, Canada on October 24, 2018:

I am amazed at your words Manatita. I can just read them over and over again. Indeed, we are the dreamers and we are the dream. It would be interesting to have a collection of your poems for meditative reading.

Rinita Sen on October 24, 2018:

Haha, yeah work's been hectic. We had festivals around here, too. Will write soon :)

manatita44 (author) from london on October 24, 2018:

Chuckle … chuckle. You make me laugh, CrisSP. I haven't found it either. Ha ha.

Of course, you're blessed. You even homed in on the correct poem. The second was not written for you or rather with you in mind, but the first was my promise to you from yesterday. Glad you liked it. Thanks for sharing, my sweet sister. Peace.

CrisSp from Sky Is The Limit Adventure on October 24, 2018:

"There is a stream of living water,

Which satiates the agony of longing." --- I'm yet to find it.

Thank you my brother for this wonderful piece of offering. Currently listening to Charlie Wilson's, "I'm Blessed" and after reading your post, I realized that even though the struggle is real, I am indeed blessed.

Sharing your beautiful creation all over the place.

Love from the sky~

'Angel of the skies.' I like that, Bill. Nice one!

Hi Rinita. How are you, my dear? Working? A few more Autumnal Sonryu's please. I need nourishment, Ha ha. Thank you so much!!

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on October 24, 2018:

A beautiful tribute for the angel of the skies. Peace and love to you both.

Beautifully done metaphors. Love this stanza.
