Author:

i-am-so-glad-my-love

“I’m so glad, my Love, so glad

That even my shadows, have felt

The sweet tenderness of Your gaze.

I am so glad, my Love, so glad

That You sweeten the pangs of my adversity.

I’m so glad, my Love, so glad

That one tender kiss from You,

Can cover a million sorrows.

I’m so glad, my Love, so glad

That while I was so eloquent in speech,

There was a lot to be desired in harmony;

You carved and moulded me well.

I’m so glad, my Love, so glad

That you placed roses on my Spirit

And not thorns on my soul.”

“My sweet child, O my crushed angel,

Into the depths of the abyss I came

And shared your distress.

For I need the joy of a Lover’s longing,

To rush through your pores.

My sweet child, o my crushed angel, come,

For I have a thousand stories to tell you.

I want you to smile; to transmit

The beauty of the Heart,

To the dark night of the Soul.

Here, open up thyself, let me stab you

With the arrow of the New Jerusalem,

Flooding your core with My resplendence;

Emanating fireflies;

Dancing in the moonlit beauty of twinkling stars.

Struggling Against Self to Enjoy Thy Delight

"Reposed in sleep ... or death,

He paints his tapestry, upon a canvas of sorrow.

A focus of concern taints his brush,

Dabbling at the onlookers gaze.

Calligraphing a heart-rending awe,

The room renders an unforgiving silence,

Made more potent as the drama unfolds.

Captured in this poignant energy of solemn attraction,

A long sinewy muscle adorns itself.

Descend! O my Beloved! Chisel a path of Light before me.

illuminate the dark mists from my tears;

Show me a way to disperse my sorrows.

I lie in stupor, on the red satin of my lover’s lap,

Struggling against self, to enjoy Thy Delight.

" Love touched my Soul;

I was burnt with the fire of God's piercing rays.

I escaped my drunken ways;

Basked in the delight of His supernal rays." -Manatita

I like changing things, Dee, the same as in fine prose writing, really.

I prefer the arrow of Love, but not so that I use it too often. So you might say that I'm trying to create a kind of Utopia,an abode of Delight, or a Golden Shore as Guruji sometimes speak of it.

Thank you so much!! Peace.

Yes, Chris. I have a few which is a conversation between me and God. Chelaji's Sojourn 1, is like that too. In this case, I want someone to recite with me, so I made it in two parts.

Towards the end of the second poem, I'm calling on the Divine, but no, it is not a dialogue. Thank you so much!!

Eric,

I thank you with much Love.

Hi Gina,

So nice to know that you are ok. A cute new look, eh? Loving thoughts.

Yes, Michael.

I'm so happy that you like it; that you associate with the spiritual. Om Shanti!!

Chris Mills from Traverse City, MI on December 07, 2017:

The first one builds beautiful images. Am I correct that this is a dialogue? first one, then the second?

I like this very much, "I’m so glad, my Love, so glad

That you placed roses on my Spirit

And not thorns on my soul.”

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on December 07, 2017:
