Bemused by a Landscape of Silence. Sunday's Inspiration 17, to MG Singh (Emge)

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

Wisdom from the Master

"Be universal in your love. You will see the universe to be the picture of your own being." - Sri Chinmoy

Bemused by a Landscape of Silence

Unfurling my soul, like a vast canopy of Light,

The sun sprinkles her grandeur, like peony blossoms.

I bathe in flames that become words – a sweet-scented

Parchment, whispering to the breeze of how much I Love You.

O Queen, how can I quell this agony of fire, burning

In my Heart? Here there are both Light and longing,

Like twilight and the dawn, heralding the advent of Thy

Cute lips; I am so drunk with the wine of Happiness!

Even a second of Thy absence, makes me go crazy;

Who in this ephemeral world of ours, can understand my plight?

Only a slave of this intensity, can truly feel my pain -- that sweet

Yearning piercing through my Spirit; tugging at the portals of Emptiness.

Dreaming of the grassy highlands of tomorrow, I am bemused

By a landscape of Silence, healing my Being with Its sweetness.

Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 22nd March, 2020.

Quote for Today

"Keep love in your Heart.

A life without it, is like a sunless garden,

When the flowers are dead." - Oscar Wilde

Laughing out loud. God is really kind to you, Bro. There is that side of you, which is just so sweett!! Gratitude.

P.S The man in the photo up top is bemused or bewildered. Ha ha.

This stuck in my head and so I looked up "bemused". I am bemused at all the definitions. Partly here an amazement and partly a lack of understanding?

manatita44 (author) from london on April 06, 2020:

Thank you so much. These are the more esoteric or meta-physical ones. Thanks Bro.

Every line tugs at the senses, dragging us gently to the "landscape of silence" where there is healing. Even relevant for the solitude we now experience. Now words really matter. Thank you.
