I Wrote My Son A Poem

there will come a time in your
journey through life
when you'll dance to the musical sound
of love a woman plays,
When your heart will beat faster than usual
at the sound of her name,
a time when her perfume will serenade
you into a senseless haven.
When this time comes,
before you nod to the beats that she is
Learn the lyrics of her music,
And if the heart that mended
the words are Crystal pure.
Go for it.
Dance to the music she is and
you'll be glad you did.

Awww, thank you Sean. I'm glad you saw the love and purity in it. BTW, I'm still a young single lady, but someday I know I will be a wife and a mother.

What an amazing poem, full of purity and love! My dear Ogbonnaya, you are an exceptional poet and, I believe, a mother too! Thank you for this beauty. I will share it with my four sons.

Prayers for your family!

Such a sweet poem. I like the flow of it, and of course the positivity. Encouraging our children to fall in love just the way we did. Wonderfully rare advice.
