I wasn’t cast away

I just didn’t try harder

The clock just forgot about my time

The space forgot to blend with me

Maybe I didn’t look farther

I’m not even at my best, yet.

I wasn’t cast away

I just shed tears, that’s all

I could’ve forgotten something important

The time I did practice was not enough.

I wasn’t cast away

I can’t recall it from my memory

All I can is a back

That had never looked back

I wasn’t cast away

It’s just that, no way told me to stay

Yet I beg them to be with me

Was that something cruel?

I wasn’t cast away

Or maybe I was
