Time never heals, but all the cherished memories can be relived again and again.

Each breath I took
Seemed uphill

When the wind was low
The sun too hot
The pace too slow

When the chill winds blew
Froze my heart
And tried to thwart it too

When all was dark
Boulders crushed my soul
Speared my heart
Remember the time
When you were near
To hold my hand
And wipe my tears

When you hugged me tight

Reassured me
Told me, everything will be alright

When I felt I was through
My chances to win
Were very few
Through all those times

I could pull through
Life was fair

Living with the stars
