I Love My Pockets – Kid's Poem

Pockets

Pockets

I love my pockets, they keep many things for me

Sometimes I hide stuff in them when I pick up anything I see

My pocket is my pal, it’s better than my bag

Because in it I can carry my pet frog

My pocket knows all my secrets I write on pieces of paper

It held for me an entire week the donut from the baker

My mommy says one of my pockets was filled with gum

But all I did was ate half and offered my pocket some

I have different color pockets

Some black, some white, some brown and some blue

Recommended

I have pockets that are very old and pockets very new

I have pockets to the side and pockets to the back

I have pockets on my jeans and my jacket top

I have pockets that are torn, but I feel sad for them

But then my mommy works her magic and makes them good again

Whenever grandpa gives me coins I put them in my pocket and lets them jingle

All my pockets are in pairs, I don’t like when they are single

I stick my hands in my pockets and it makes them warm

My pockets are like a wonderful charm

Thank you pocket, you are always good

You are always near me, just like you should.
