I held the stars

I reached the moon

they're on my hand

but not for long.

I climbed the mountain

I heard its reverberations

I drunk the fountain

to quench my thirsty emotions.

Nothing compares

to the abyss where I lay

the enigma I saw in its shadow

was just a lonely beast hiding in gloom.

I dreamt of pleasure

I tried to have a good time

but I've been there just for once

and I knew I won't be there again.
