Wisdom from the Master

On Love

God's Love is everything! It is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. We speak of the kinds of love we take from Greeks and ancient texts, but we also speak of that all-knowing, peerless and unfathomable Friend --Love.

Actually, It is not really different. The Absolute, from Its abode of Silence, projects to us what we know as Creation, sending the Emissary of Love, in various guises, to guide us on this sojourn.

Sometimes It takes a form, but it needn't do so. It is what we feel in the forests, in the smile of our children; when a total stranger goes that extra mile in times of need.

It is in the longing of the addict; making money or driving fast cars and it is in the Light of our Hearts when we see the candescent moon, walking upon our souls to grant us solace, from a sometimes weary world.

Love is that invisible music, that light or voice of the unknowable, disguising itself in myriad forms, to suit or growth like children in kindergarten, or the professors in university, each according to need.

Brenda is a loving soul, a poetess, who, like you and I, goes through similar experiences in her quest for meaning, purpose ... this sacred dance of trying to unravel it all. Amidst all this, Love continues to walk upon dawns and sunsets; on day and night and hills and dales. It waltzes in the heavens, but carries us in the shadows, for by its nature, it is in both light and darkness as the One.

Let us continue ... to Love, to not take a break, for Love, in its infinite Mercy, will one day free us from our sorrows by giving us a Heart of inspiration-flames, filled with the Light of Its wisdom, Grace and compassionate Delight. - Manatita

I Prayed for Delight

I prayed for Light;

The iridescent beauty of rainbows,

Kissed my aching and yearning Heart.

I prayed for Peace,

The Beloved embraced me,

With the stillness of a thousand dawns.

I asked for the supernal minstrels;

The melody of celestial harps,

Whispered in my core.

I prayed for Liberation;

My soul sang like nightingales,

As I felt the thrills of Grace.

I prayed for Love,

The Beloved kissed my lips sweetly;

I walked on the breath of infinitude,

As we became ... One.

I prayed for Delight,

I knew only the breathless and deathless joy, of Silence.

Immersed in God's Love

I Have Stripped Myself Open to Offer You my All. A Free-style Sonnet

The agony of longing, is the gateway to Beauty;

Any other way, detracts from the pain that

Shapes this Love. With an ashen face, I roam in

The forest of wild beasts, seeking out Thy Lustre.

The effulgent moon, the twinkling stars;

The incandescence of the suns Citadel,

All adorn me in robes of opulence,

Burning the ‘storms’ in my river of tears.

Overwhelmed and bare, in the sweetness of Silence,

My inebriation is complete; I appear drunk, to

Those who know not this sweet and ancient wine.

With senses stunned, my Heart regulates breath,

Already lost in bewilderment; and my Beloved says:

“I have stripped Myself open, to offer you My all."
