I Came Racing In

Updated on December 1, 2017

In A Place Where Only A Few Will Dare

Outdoors where nature was created and still exists

Seeing life so primitive

The stillness interrupted by an intruder

Turning over what nobody else would

Objects of wood gathered for no use

A foreign humming sound annoying every animal and insect

Finally after long hours of constant pacing

The Gods would send him racing

Instantly the blanket of time

Covers all we see

To give all things time to rest

The natural course of life will follow

Will this creature on two legs appear ?

Only to vanish like the sun

Tamara Yancosky Moore I have written a comment and now it has disappeared. So here I go again. I love simple things. Relaxing and breathing for starters. Talking to friends or texting about this crazy thing called life. Why I love it so much. How I love to share my day and other people like to share theirs. We are only here for a blink of an eye and then we are gone. Lets have fun and make people laugh, think, dream and smile. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to post a comment. You made me smile. Have an incredible evening.

Gypsy Rose Lee Life can be shared so many ways. I think of it like having one dollar. Each person can have a dollar .The first person having 4 quarters, the next 10 dimes, the person after that 20 nickels, the last person having 100 pennies. Each has a story to tell and their own way of sharing and caring. Have a beautiful day. Thank you for reading and enjoying a little fun.

Michael=Milec We can take the joys of life and spin them like a spiders web tucked in a far distant corner for a few curious people to find. Either sitting in the sun or blowing in the strongest winds, dripping wet in the heavy rains magnificently made for all to see. Thank you for reading and sharing. Have a great day.

manatita44 I tried to include what I felt and not just what I see and do. I was mowing the lawn, picking up sticks in the yard, hours later just before dark, finishing up and running in the house because I had to go to the bathroom. I tried to put a unique twist on my day. Luke Holm I love being outside in the yard. My wife has to call to me to come in. Surrounded by the grass and the trees. I know there are critters hiding and insects I can not see under ground. I love sharing the peacefulness and the serenity. Thank you both for reading and sharing my adventure. Have a wonderful sleep.

Hey Dream On, you have some nice rhymes here. This poem reminds me of going into the forest to meditate. Walking in, I come crashing through the brush, focused on my agenda. Walking out, I am part of the forest, delicate and present. Thanks for sharing :)
