I Believe in Muses

A Winter's Night Poem

I believe in miracles and madness and magic… and dancing and laughter and music.

I believe in love and sticky fingers and the first fallen snow… and that tears and sorrow are gifts to help us grow.

I believe in the power of direction, be it north, east, south, or west… and sunshine and rain and the cradle of the moonlight’s crest.

I believe in nymphs and gnomes and toadstools… and angels and dolphins and fools.

I believe in hands that carry our fuses… and that stars shining in the dark of night are beautifully guiding our muses.
