I am Goodbye that
which separates hearts
My unheard sighs
My unseen tears
My ignored voice
cry when someone
I know both hearts
One who says it and
another who hears and tolerates it
I can feel their pain
I can hear their unsaid words
I know how difficult it is
when someone breaks your heart
When someone leaves you forever
Just by saying "Goodbye"
Unfortunately I become witness
of all separations
But I want to reconnect hearts
I would love to reunite them
Whenever someone thinks
to utter goodbye
I scream silently
Please don't say so
Say we will meet again
I don't want to be the sign of separation
I would love to become the bridge of reconciliation.

Great poem and goodbyes do have the potential to be painful, true.
'Bridge of reconciliation? umm ... om Shanti!
