I Am Feeling The Best I Have Felt In Years

Author:

I Am Not Sure Why

I haven't changed a thing

My sleep routine has been the same

Work had been less busy which is helpful

Recently I have been walking just a little bit

I do that anyway

I got it

I have Spring Fever

The sun has warmed up outside

In the high fifties

A little juice and lightly toasted bread with grape jelly

And a bite of chocolate

A friend had given us an early Easter gift

A solid chocolate bunny from Russell Stovers

We won't go out of our way to buy candy

But it is sure nice

I eat a lot of vegetables during the day

They seem to fill me up

To see if that will curve my hunger pains

I had a massage today

How wonderful that feels

To have your body pampered as it should be

It was well worth it

Do to the type of work I do

I get pain in my elbow and joints

Tennis elbow and tenderness in my wrists

A version of carpel tunnel

My job isn't gong to change anytime soon

So I have to do whatever exercise relieve the uncomfortable soreness

Which can lead to pain

Now on a more up beat note

How is everyone else doing on this wonderful day ?

Are you experiencing some of the same feelings ?

Please share

I am finishing off my breakfast with a nice ripe banana

Off to run a few errands and I can't wait to fill you in on my day

It is just noon

High noon if I was in a western

That is where all the action takes place

All is quiet

Is this the quiet before the storm ?

I feel like a just hoped on an amusement ride and I just bucked up

There is no turning back

Any second now

The excitement is building at an extremely fast rate

I can feel my left leg starting to tremble

My pupils in my eyes dilated

The tongue in my mouth retracting

So I don't bite it accidentally

My shoulders tensing up

I once again do a shoulder shrug

I also rotate my neck clockwise and then counter clockwise

My body is still tingling all over from a great massage

I feel like a million bucks

I think this year is going to be the year of the flower

I am going to plant many different flowers

I have planted a few in the past and a garden

I haven't had great success with the garden

So I decided to skip it

Maybe a couple of tomato plants in pots will be just fine

Our cat went running to the door

I look over to see who it is

What ?

Would you believe ....

Audrey Hunt I reread my hub and made a few grammar corrections. Sometimes when I write and read something it sounds good until I read it a dozen times after I catch my mistakes. Thank you for seeing past my mistakes and looking deep into the heart of my hub. I hope you are doing great. I picked up a harp at a flea market and have had the pleasure of fooling around with different sounds. I play for awhile till my wife says can we give that a rest. (lol) Thank you for reading and sharing.

Linda Crampton As I settle in for the night. I will kick back and try to gather my thoughts together like a squirrel gathering nuts in the fall. I don't want to miss any so I have to take it slow and keep picking up one by one. Thank you for reading and sharing. Hope your night is beautiful. Dora Weithers I keep trying to bring out little bursts of fresh air like when I am in my car with the window slightly down. It feels so good. I get a little and it is just a tease. I want so much more. Thank you for taking the time to read and explore a little more of my day and how it connects to the greater picture of who we are and how we can be kind and nice all the time. Wishing you a sweet day of happiness and comfort.

I'm glad you're feeling so good. An early Easter gift of chocolate would definitely be enjoyable! The ending of your poem is intriguing.

I'm impressed with the way you take the details of your life and turn them into poetry. So contented, so inspiring! Thanks.
