I woke to a drying river, a river we made flow brimful,
Flowers bordered our love beyond our eyes could see,
Our love was too good to be true when the sun burned us tristfully,
I never thought this would be,
With the sun shining so beautifully, why did our love turn shady,
So much life poured in us, and now all we have is dust,
Your hair smelled so much like daises.... the winds haven't blown lately ,
Our love was a sight to see, now its just the crust at the bottom of the creek,
The birds weep instead of singing, while our love seeps,
I don't want to seek another seed to sow in our garden of love,
I'll cry until our creek is full like it use to be.
