Human Stupidity Un-Ltd: A Satirical Rhyme With Food for Thought

Val enjoys writing his own style of what resembles poetry, just hoping to catch someone's heart on the same page.

The following is this little compilation of illusions

that are still enjoying the mainstream's respect

so let everyone draw their own conclusions

if not insisting on being politically correct.

The origin of man still unclear as ever

with nothing but theories parading as facts

alternative sized down to hobby-like endeavor

mainstream keeping quiet about disturbing artifacts.

Medicine ignoring the mind over body effect

still reductionist, seeing you as bio-machine

while it's so obvious, undeniable and direct

mind so far from being main actor on scene.

We are screaming at meddling from abroad

keeping quiet about all that we do to others

the one-sided story so hypocritical and odd

sticking our nose all around never bothers.

Millennia of religious love-oriented preaching

without an impressive result to be seen at all

along with all other highly moralistic teaching

and we're still playing deaf to conscience call.

Everybody knows about all politicians' lying

it's household truism so commonly known

but all of that deception we are still buying

like some ultimate truths carved in stone.

Holocaust is saddening, eye-opening story

but seventy million died in that idiotic war

so let's remember them all in their glory

unrepeatable stupidity they all died for.

Now what would it take to open human eyes

so tightly closed almost making us all blind

to discard all deception, fallacies and lies

to evolve in our heart, and in our mind.
