They've always told me, “When you love, always love with reserve.”
Never give everything. That way, when you do get hurt, you won’t get hurt and be left with nothing.
They've always told me, “When you love, always keep your head above the waters.”
That way, when it doesn’t work out, you won’t get drowned easily and you'd still be able to breathe.
They've always told me, “When you love, always love slowly and never too fast.”
That way, when the road gets bumpy, you won’t dive in head first and straight into the pain.
