How Long Does It Take?
How full of sin is the earth, oh Lord?
Days and days have transgressed
having surpassed the weighty soil
having compromised the light source
Breaking down
Oh Lord, is our earth?
As organic construction begins to,
when wear and tear are prudent
rather than your sovereign desires taught
and the night drawn vehement
How long, oh Lord, will the earth hold still
while the sun purges through its veil
confusing the dead inside,
leaving residual, pocketing the thieves
How fearful, oh God!
I must consider your heart, then mine
while the world is burning down
from coast to coast
