Holy Spirit Acrostic Poem
Poetry allows the release of my innermost feelings of love, life & all help make life a success. Painting a picture in your mind with words!
Holy Spirit Acrostic Poem
Happy is he who loves the Lord Jesus Christ
Open your heart, for the pouring of intense love
Love is promised unconditional to all who have ears to hear
You just have to seek and believe and keep faith
Send us the Comforter, we need the reassurance, does He hear our call?
Praying without ceasing, he will help you if you don't know what to say
In all your sorrows, he will carry you through
Repent of your sins, the angels are sure to rejoice
In fervent prayer, the comforter remains at our side
Tis' time to thank him for always showing us the way
"Let me paint you a picture - a picture with words"
Thank you, Lord, for the gift of writing poetry!
I praise the Lord for the gift of writing from my heart in hope of touching your hearts and bring the joy of beautiful memories past and future.
And most of all in sharing my love of Christ Jesus with the world- Amen

Thank you very much, Flourish, Elijah and Pamela, I appreciate your kind words and yes I know the Holy Spirit lives in all of us and it is truly amazing. In fact, Jesus breathed on the disciples and that's how they were blessed with it!
Absolutely wonderful and yes we still can call upon the comforter when we feel we need him to comfort us more when we are in great need!
All my best,
Donna Rayne

Very well said, Donna, except "the comforter remains at our side" isn't where the comforter is found. Luke 17:20-21 tells "the kingdom of Heaven" is within and heaven is God's throne therefore we will find "The Comforter" within ourselves. So long as we are looking outside of ourselves we'll never recognize The Comforter.
Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you, Brenda and John, I wanted to learn a new style to write poetry, so I searched it out, read how other people wrote their acrostic poem and asked the Lord to help me because I wasn't sure if I was doing it right and I decided to do more of God and less of me.
Blessings always,
Donna Rayne
