Holy Madness

Can one be so aggressively meek
That I would feel sorrow and not anger
One who would sow much turmoil in others
And yet believe in such misunderstood good

Who could be so powerfully weak
That love can only be felt from a stranger
Separated by birth from her child this mother
Can only pray with the fervor a madman would

Within a secular palace who would seek
The doubt and rejection that found a manger
It is written a sword shall separate brothers
But would she unsheath its edge if she could?
