Here's To You Mrs. Robinson of Today
I can't seem to stop writing poetry or reading poetry. I think it is safe to say I love poetry and I love sharing great poetry with others.
Remembering you Mrs. Robinson,
I'll remember you more then you'll know.
Your blessing please Mrs. Robinson
your era holds sway even today.
We'd like to know what they hide
in those files.
He'd like to hide you behind talks
about himself.
Look around all you see is patriotic
eyes.
There is no safe grounds, no place
to call our home.
No longer need to hide in places
where no one ever goes.
It's no secret anymore.
The hardest part is hiding
how the kids have been
exposed.
Remembering you Mrs. Robinson.
I'll remember you more then you'll know.
Your blessings please Mrs. Robinson
your era holds sway even today.
Sitting on the sofa like every afternoon
listen to loss of political discourse.
"Laugh about it, shout about it,
when you got to choose."
There is no escaping the ruse.
There no longer exists a decent
role model.
A nation has forgot that you
exist.
All have left and gone away.
Here's to remembering you
Mrs. Robinson. I'll remember you
more then you will ever know.
Your blessing please Mrs. Robinson
your era holds sway even today.

I remember Mrs. Robinson quite well.
I think Gypsy has a point..maybe she met Joe in the sky.
I suppose this is the time to remember Jesus loves you more than you know.
Great write.
