A Poem: Her Glum Countenance

Her glum countenance

T'was a bright and halcyon day

When a blinding darkness benighted the city.

I was lying broke and exhausted,

Hearing the cries of the defeated.

I see flood of red color

forming into a river of sorrows.

The charge of excruciating pain,

Arises as I witness this heart piercing scene.

Every second I endure

Seeing the crystal beads falling on her visage

I crawl towards her

Reaching for his touch

Darkness blocked her from my sight,

and later I realized.

This is the last time I could met her eyes

Before I lie and die with pride
