Her Mountain

A man struggling to find purpose, and to live a passionate, humble human experience.

I don’t need one night,
I just need your light.

Why go to Hell when I can
Meet you halfway in Heaven.

In a world of gold,
All I want to see is diamond,
As long as it stays with you,
And as long as you and I remain blue.

I wanted a heavy crown,
But God prayed for wings instead.
Because even if angels leave,
They remain their brother’s keeper.

God helped me find Him in the mountains,
Because God made me see infinity.
Now I see you, me, and all family.

In Her name, in His eternity, I
Pray for resolution to my dissolution.
To claim your Sacred Name,
From A to Z, from Alpha to Omega.

Now I see beauty in your Mountain.
I see beauty in her, in you, and me.
Gratitude isn’t enough to match
Black and Blue, All for my everlasting you.
