Coronavirus

This is my eleventh alphabet poem. Coronavirus is killing hundreds of people in the world. The world community is under tremendous fear and panic. Residential areas have turned into zawns ( isolated places/ caves ). This is a grave situation, being confronted by the people. Let's pray for safety and wellbeing of the humanity and take all preventive measures at our disposal. Besides zawn ( isolated place / cave ), I have used another word xyrophobia ( fear of being close to something ) in this poem.

Coronavirus

Arrest brute
Coronavirus
Damned evil
Fast galloping
Highly ignominious
Jabbing
Killing
Lord mine
Nourisher
Omnipotent
Please
Quickly
Rescue
Scuttle terminate
Ugly virus
World
Xyrophobia
Yielding
Zawns

The innocent old folks are dying , yet doctors had to save the younger generations instead. How sad

Dear bro manatita, it's a killer virus and has taken thousands of lives in China. It's spreading in other parts of the world also. The world is grappling with this deadly virus. Hope it would be contained soon. Thanks for stopping by, reading, and commenting bro.

Cool! Not the deadly virus of course. Nice to see your alphabet attempt. Seeing more and more people with masks, even in London.

Thanks for enhancing awareness of this major problem.

Thank you Chitrangada Sharan, this pernicious virus has taken a heavy toll already, and is spreading in various parts of the world. Everyone is concerned. Yes, as you say, precautions are must. Thanks for showing concern for humanity. I appreciate your comments.

Yes Eric, so many viruses raised their heads time to time, but we have contained them all. This time too, God willing, we' ll defeat the enemy. The flu you mentioned was really deadly.

My good wishes for health and well being of your son. I thank you for your kind visit and appreciation.

Harish Mamgain (author) from New Delhi , India on February 09, 2020:

The moment the world succeeds in containing one virus, the other starts to torment it. Thanks John for reading and appreciating the tiny poem. Hope we' ll be able to contain it soon.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on February 09, 2020:

It is amazing how well we contain these viruses. Good on those that do the hard work. Around 50K will die, just in the USA from the flu -- known strain -- this year. My son is getting over it.

Great composition here my friend.

John Hansen from Queensland Australia on February 09, 2020:

Great job at highlighting this deadly and terrifying disease through this well-written alphabet poem. Good work Harish.
