Heartbreak From Space ( A different Valentine's Day Poem)
Paul is an Engineer. A graduate from a Catholic University. A rebel and a romantic...
Your name is the prayer I speak before the altar.
When you’re around my heart beats faster;
Like cannon balls racing towards the border….
Shyness vanishing as our bond gets stronger;
You’re my un-adulterated shock absorber…
In a world full of sugar-coated pretensions,
There you are like a dew-kissed carnation.
Batting your eyes with subtle flirtation;
Your lips requiring complete submission…
The vibrations and sensations
Are launching me to a space station.
I’m now on an inter-galactic mission
To put my flag in your emotions.
With love as the driving force I made it to space.
Alas, it was too late when I realized it was a race.
While I was busy packing my suitcase;
A Space Commander landed in your airbase.
Now I will fly back to earth disgraced.
I did not even get an embrace.
I tried my best to give a straight face;
As I threw all our memories into deep space

Yes....when it's over it's over....It will hurt for sometime but we must move on :)

You know when to retreat and that's a good thing. No drama. Selfless.
