Nature - Haiku

Nithya Venkat enjoys writing about nature and different aspects of life in the form of poetic verses.

flowers nodding heads

flowers nodding heads

Inspired by nature, I have written these haiku capturing the beauty of the world around us.

Fragrant Delights

gentle breeze blows soft

fragrant flowers nod their heads

drones of bees descend

Dewdrops

dewdrops slip slide play

rolling down blades of green grass

quenching flower beds

Dawn

dawn of a new day

nodding flowers spring awake

red carpet welcome

Sunshine

mother earth awaits

dreaming of the warm sunshine

to shed her white coat

In Harmony

nature at its best

elements in harmony

gentle breeze follows

Lulled to Sleep

nature lulled to sleep

a soft bed of earth beneath

cradle of comfort

A Rainbow

bouncing off droplets

colors reflect the sunshine

glorious rainbow
