Granted the Deathless Boon of Infinity's Peace

Manatita is an esteemed author living in London, UK. He writes spiritual books, flash fiction and esoteric poetry, his favourite genre.

The arrow of Love caresses me;

The dance of an ever-effulgent Light,

Kisses and embraces my soul.

Just yesterday, mortality was binding and held my hands;

A caravan of sins trailed my sojourn.

Fragility sucked at my afflictions;

I was as vulnerable as the dying breath.

Who knows Thy inscrutable ways of Love?

Soaring across the barriers of timeless time,

You responded lovingly, to my endless cries of sorrow.

Again and again in ceaseless waves,

Your constant rhapsody filled my Spirit.

I swooned inebriated, in the celestial wine of Heaven;

I have been granted the deathless boon, of Infinity's Peace.

~Awakening The Inner Light~

Silence Speaks, by Manatita

"The night is sometimes daunting,

But the snow-clad purity of another virgin dawn,

Never ceases to amaze.

Look at the miracle and intimacy of sunrise?

Do you feel this?

The immortal Spirit ... speaks in Silence." -Manatita, 30th August, 2018

Tamara Yancosky from Uninhabited Regions on September 10, 2018:

Your poetry captures the intensity of wondrous love. xxx

I could not locate your email address in my Contact List, Manatita, so I am unsure as to where it floated, but I wanted to send you a link to my poem where I added your link to your gorgeous poem offering to me.

Perhaps, I can put it here so you can see it. It is with butterflies. Oh, it did not allow me to add link, here.

I like your three words Hari.

They reflect so much, the Spirit of my prose and poetical offerings. So I'm told and that's what I aim for. Thank you so much!

Hari Prasad S from Bangalore on August 31, 2018:

Indeed. Let us give thanks and praise. Appreciations.

Eric Dierker from Spring Valley, CA. U.S.A. on August 31, 2018:

Love and the rising new day. Wonderful. I get up early. So my wife and son get up just around sunrise and hugs are the order of the day for those sleepy heads. I get the sunrise and loving hugs within mere moments.

And today I got your lovely dedication to our joint shared love. Fantastic. I praise the Almighty within us all.

Ha ha. Shame on you, Rinita. You mean that you are not there as yet? I thought that you were up there with Damayanti, Kunti and Savitri. No? Lol.

Anyway, since you are having a difficult day, then perhaps you are right. Give me a hand when you get there. Do not forget you Bhai Ji Manatita, who is in fact a lesser mortal. Thanks a lot, my dear. Just teasing you. Best wishes.

P.S Just from New York. Going to bed.

Rinita Sen on August 31, 2018:

Your poems always lift me up when I am having a difficult day. Thank you always for showing the light. We all await the snow-clad purity of the dawn (loved this line)

You're in the Caribbean? Shouldn't be hard. Early rising encourages receptivity of the higher forces raining down from above. Thanks a lot, Dora

Dora Weithers from The Caribbean on August 30, 2018:

What a pleasant, favorable mood you create here! And you help me feel the miracle and intimacy of sunrise. I need to make the effort to look at it.

manatita44 (author) from london on August 30, 2018:

Thanks Bill.

You nearly always make me laugh. In a sweet way. Appreciations.

Linda L,

It is actually a sobering thought. When we finally shed this body, so much of our shackles will be released! It is the mind which is the major culprit. Gratitude.

Yes, two words, but you said that you are topsy turvy ... upside down. Lol. Love you, my sweet Tamara.

Linda Lum from Washington State, USA on August 30, 2018:

Manatita, as I read this I thought of the wounded, broken body of Senator John McCain being lifted to Heaven, rid of the shackles of infirmity and now restored.

Tamara Yancosky from Uninhabited Regions on August 30, 2018:

One word crosses my mind: Beautiful... and, Magnificent. That was two words, actually. ❤️

Bill Holland from Olympia, WA on August 30, 2018:

I am a silence kind of guy. The less noise the better. Give me a cup of coffee and a spot under a tree at sunrise and I am in heaven on earth.

Peace always my friend!

manatita44 (author) from london on August 30, 2018:

Ah Mary.

Just read your piece. My Heart's infinite Love ... my soul's boundless concern and prayers. Gratituide

Mary Norton from Ontario, Canada on August 30, 2018:

The miracle and intimacy of sunrise...I love your words as they express my enjoyment of watching the sun rises early in the morning...it makes me taste Infinity's Peace.
