Gone: When Love Takes Flight
Samuel Malik Canty: the Word Bird. I am the author of Five Poetry Books, I understand my Purpose, and my words are my proof...
Gone
She is gone…
Taking her fragrance with her, taking
My heart with her…
She is gone…
Like a bird she has taken flight and altered my
life…
She is gone…
The air has changed; every breath now brings me memory pains…
She is gone…
Loneliness has embrace my existence and
seeks to set up residence in my heart…
Her walk, my fault… Her walk, my lack of communication…
Blind vision and no trust in the power of love led to hemorrhaging
In the relationship…
Finger pointing, disagreements and infrequent physical contact
Led to departure and the sounds of bags packing…
She
Is
Gone…
Misery following me…Memories haunting me…Inside my soul
A huge hole and echoes of her name continue to bounce off the wall of my heart…
Like an apparition, like morning dew
She
Is
Gone….
Took all my joy with her…
Took all my strength with her...
Took the music out my soul with her...
She
is
Gone...

Thank's You, I took this from the eyes of other's who bare witness to what happens when love goes wrong.

Poetic Word Bird, Sounds like a love relationship that went bad and come to a typical end. I wrote about this in 2 or even 3 of my hubs. Believe it or not heartbreak is good when it happens because no one lives without it. It may happen 3 or more times in a person's lifetime before learning how to avoid more of them. You now must regroup so that you can move on normally without being afraid of having relationships. Curiously, how many times have you experienced breaking up like that or is this the 1st?

Beautiful introspective expression of love and learning. I am grateful that you have grown through the experience, learned the lesson, healed and transformed to now live a better reality of love in action.
Stay Blessed Word Bird,

Uhhh, so painful. I can feel this one with each word I read, Poetic. I almost welled up. Immaculate writing and sharing of a lonely, brokenness that cuts deep after a breakup. Excellent job, voted up, beautiful, and sharing.
