God in My Poem
Like the black hole in the universe,
The elderly's amnesia,
Or the learner's tabularasa,
The world erases the melody of my verses
Yet as the sun rays touches my skin
Endless promise I breathe in
Who am I to serve you?
When everyone needs you
Everyday, I seek your face
You're all faithful, never failed a promise
Now I understand, when trials test us
That is your mercies hidden in disguise
As I walk with you I am learning
Your grace is endlessly pouring
And all the while you are suffering
You never failed us with your blessing
Your words become my breathing
My vital signs for living
With the hero's blood I'm not deserving
A mirror I need to keep looking
